The National Fire Code of Canada 2015 (NFC), published by NRC and developed by the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes, sets out the technical provisions regulating activities related to the construction, use or demolition of buildings and facilities, the condition of specific elements of buildings and facilities, and the design or construction of specific elements of facilities related to certain hazards as well as the protection measures for the current or intended use of buildings.

The IFC contains regulations to safeguard life and property from fires and explosion hazards. Topics include general precautions, emergency planning and preparedness, fire department access and water supplies, automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, special hazards, and the storage and use of hazardous materials. Key changes to the IFC include:

Provides a number of methods, describing in each case the apparatus required, precautions required, procedure and interpretation of the results of proving gas tightness of vacuum or pressurized plant. Contains over 100pp.

Provides information on the physical and chemical properties of hydrogen and proper handling and use. It is intended to provide background information for personnel involved in the manufacture, distribution, and use of hydrogen. Purpose of this Guidebook: This guidebook provides information on the requirements to achieve and renew a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Cylinder and Fuel System Inspector personnel certification.
About this Certification: The CNG Cylinder and Fuel System Inspector Certification was developed to meet the needs of fleets of all sizes that use safe, cleaner-burning natural gas to power their vehicles.

This standard shall apply to the design, installation, acceptance testing, operation, and ongoing periodic testing of smoke control systems. A.1.1 This standard incorporates methods for applying engineering calculations and reference models to provide a designer with the tools to develop smoke control system designs. The designs are based on select design objectives presented in Section 4.1.
