NISTIR 7628 Rev. 1
This three-volume report, Guidelines for Smart Grid Cybersecurity, presents an analytical framework that organizations can use to develop effective cybersecurity strategies tailored to their particular combinations of Smart Grid-related characteristics, risks, and vulnerabilities.
SAND - 7084 (2013)
The U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Storage Systems (ESS) Program, through the support of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), facilitated the development of the protocol provided in this report. The focus of the protocol is to provide a uniform way of measuring, quantifying, and reporting the performance of ESSs in various applications; something that does not exist today and, as such, is hampering the consideration and use of this technology in the market.
PNNL - 23390
This report supplements the report, "Protocol for Uniformly Measuring and Expressing the Performance of Energy Storage Systems," PNNL-22010, Rev. 1, June 2014. It provides the background and documentation associated with the determination of a duty cycle to be applied to an energy storage system (ESS) in a microgrid operated in an islanded mode, for the purpose of measuring and expressing ESS performance in accordance with the June 2014 protocol for measuring and expressing ESS performance.
CGA Publication G5
Provides information on the physical and chemical properties of hydrogen and proper handling and use. It is intended to provide background information for personnel involved in the manufacture, distribution, and use of hydrogen. Additional technical information can be obtained from hydrogen gas manufacturers.
CGA Publication G5.5
This publication presents design guidelines for hydrogen vent systems used in gaseous and liquid hydrogen systems at user sites and provides recommendations for safe operation of these vents. It begins at the discharge port of safety devices and other components that control the release of hydrogen and ends at the point where hydrogen concentration in the atmosphere is below the lower flammable limits. It also provides information on the production, transportation, handling, and storage of compressed hydrogen, cryogenic liquid hydrogen, and related products.
NFPA 92
This standard shall apply to the design, installation, acceptance testing, operation, and ongoing periodic testing of smoke control systems. A.1.1 This standard incorporates methods for applying engineering calculations and reference models to provide a designer with the tools to develop smoke control system designs. The designs are based on select design objectives presented in Section 4.1.
MB Fire Code
Manitoba adopts the National Building Code, the National Plumbing Code, and the National Fire Code.
ICC IFC-2018
The IFC contains regulations to safeguard life and property from fires and explosion hazards. Topics include general precautions, emergency planning and preparedness, fire department access and water supplies, automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, special hazards, and the storage and use of hazardous materials.
IEC 61850-7-420
IEC 61850-7-420:2009(E) defines IEC 61850 information models to be used in the exchange of information with distributed energy resources (DER), which comprise dispersed generation devices and dispersed storage devices, including reciprocating engines, fuel cells, microturbines, photovoltaics, combined heat and power, and energy storage. Utilizes existing IEC 61850-7-4 logical nodes where possible, but also defines DER-specific logical nodes where needed.
