Canada-Wide Standards for Dioxins and Furans
The Canada-wide Standards process has focussed on anthropogenic sources that are releasing dioxins and furans to the atmosphere and soil in a continuous process.
In January 1999, the Federal/Provincial Task Force on Dioxins and Furans released the Dioxins and Furans and Hexachlorobenzene Inventory of Releases which documented the current understanding of anthropogenic sources in Canada releasing dioxins and furans. The Inventory of Releases lists emissions from over 20 sectors by province and territory, and provides national summaries for each sector.
Canada-Wide Standards for Mercury Emissions
CCME recognizes the importance of continuous improvement in mercury emission reductions because of the toxic, persistent and bioaccumulative nature of this pollutant in order to protect not only fish and wildlife, but also human health. CCME is committed to reducing mercury releases to the environment. CCME developed Canada-wide Standards (CWSs) for mercury emissions from base-metal smelters, waste incinerators, coal-fired power plants as well as mercury-containing lamps and dental amalgam waste.
IEC TR 61850-7-500:2017
IEC TR 61850-7-500:2017(E) describes the use of the information model for devices and functions of IEC 61850 in applications in substation automation systems, but it may also be used as informative input for the modeling of any other application domain. In particular, it describes the use of compatible logical node names and data objects names for communication between Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED) for use cases. This includes the relationship between Logical Nodes and Data Objects for the given use cases.
Data Sheet 5-10
The document describes the various methods used for grounding electrical systems and the non-current carrying metal parts of electrical wiring systems and equipment and also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the different grounding methods, and the means employed to safeguard property from arc damage and fire.
