ANSI C18.2M Part 1-2013
Applies to portable rechargeable or secondary cells and batteries based on the following electrotechnical systems: nickel cadmium, nickel metal hydride and lithium ion.
Applies to portable rechargeable or secondary cells and batteries based on the following electrotechnical systems: nickel cadmium, nickel metal hydride and lithium ion.
This International Standard deals with the safety of electric battery chargers for household and similar use having an output at safety extra-low voltage, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V.
Battery chargers not intended for normal household use, but which nevertheless may be a source of danger to the public, such as battery chargers intended for use in garages, shops, light industry and on farms, are within the scope of this standard.
This part of IEC 61951 specifies marking, designation, dimensions, tests and requirements for portable sealed nickel-cadmium small prismatic, cylindrical and button rechargeable single cells, suitable for use in any orientation.

1.1
This Standard applies to newly produced gas-fired low-pressure steam and hot water boilers with gas inlet pressure ratings not exceeding 0.5 psi (3.5 kPa) and having input ratings of less than 12,500,000 Btu/hr (3 663 389 W) (see Clause 3, Definitions), hereinafter referred to as boilers*, constructed entirely of new unused parts and materials, for operation at or below the following pressures and temperatures:
Steam heating boilers
15 psi (103.42 kPa) steam pressure
Hot water heating boilers
Types of flanges from PN 6 to PN 40 and in sizes up to DN 1800. Facings, dimensions tolerances, bolt sizes, marking and materials for bolting and flange materials with associated pressure/temperature ratings.
Methods for the identification and assessment of hazardous situations leading to explosion and the design and construction measures appropriate for the required safety. This is achieved by:
- risk assessment;
- risk reduction.
The safety of equipment, protective systems and components can be achieved by eliminating hazards and/or limiting the risk, i.e. by:
This Part of this European Standard applies to all water-tube boilers as defined in EN 12952-1 which are heated by combustion of one or more fuels or by hot gases for the generation of steam and/or hot water.
This Part of this European Standard applies to those components between the feedwater inlet and the steam outlet of the steam generator. The quality of the steam produced is outside the scope of this standard.
