1. The object of this Act is the protection of persons and property, except forest resources which are protected pursuant to the Sustainable Forest Development Act (chapter A-18.1), against fires of any nature. For the purposes of this Act, any explosion likely to cause a fire shall be considered to be a fire. 2000, c. 20, s. 1; 2010, c. 3, s. 329. 2.
