IEC 60086-2:2015
IEC 60086-2:2015 is applicable to primary batteries based on standardized electrochemical systems. It specifies the physical dimensions, the discharge test conditions and discharge performance requirements. This thirteenth edition cancels and replaces the twelfth edition (2011) and constitutes a technical revision.
IEC 60086-3:2016
IEC 60086-4:2014
IEC 60086-4:2014 specifies tests and requirements for primary lithium batteries to ensure their safe operation under intended use and reasonably foreseeable misuse. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2007. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
- Harmonisation with the second edition of IEC 62281;
- Alternative protective circuits in 7.1.1;
IEC 60254-1:2005
IEC TR 61044:2002
This Technical Report covers the opportunity charging of lead-acid traction batteries, i.e. the use of free time during a working period to top up the charge and thus extend the working day of a battery whilst avoiding excessive discharge. The object of this report is to lay down rules or recommendations for the use of opportunity- charging of lead-acid traction batteries of vented and valve-regulated types, when the battery manufacturer has not recommended the required operating procedures.
IEC 61150:1992
Specifies tests and requirements for sealed nickel-cadmium rechargeable monobloc batteries in button cell design, suitable for use in any orientation. The contents of the corrigendum of March 1992 have been included in this copy
IEC TR 61431:1995
This is an informative document covering the broadest aspects of automatic monitor systems as they apply to traction battery applications. The subject of the guide covers those monitor characteristics and features which need to be controlled, though not necessarily currently available. In addition it accommodates those characteristics which are measurable and provides interpretations of accuracy and reliability of the information generated. This publication has the status of a Technical Report - type 3
IEC 61951-2:2003
Specifies tests and requirements for sealed nickel-metal hydride rechargeable single cells, suitable for use in any orientation
IEC 61951-1:2003
Specifies marking, designation, dimensions, tests and requirements for sealed nickel-cadmium small prismatic rechargeable single cells, suitable for use in any orientation
